DESCRIPTION:Join us for our weekly Street Outreach in Davis Square\, where we offer socks\, snacks\, and solidarity to our unhoused neighbors. It’s a small gesture—walking the streets\, offering what we can with dignity and warmth—but it makes a real difference. \nWe’ll meet at 3:00 PM in front of the Davis Square T Station on Holland Street. Before we head out\, Rev. Tom will offer a brief introduction to the work—what we’re doing\, why it matters\, and how to go about it with care. Then we’ll walk a loop through the neighborhood\, finishing up by 4:00 or 4:30. \nNo experience needed. DESCRIPTION:Right after worship on Sunday\, October 5\, we’ll head up the hill together to join Tufts Community Day — a beloved tradition that brings neighbors\, students\, and community groups together for food\, fun\, and celebration. \nOur church will have a table to share who we are with the wider community\, and we’d love your help representing Hillside! We’ll be greeting neighbors\, answering questions\, and connecting with people who might be looking for a church like ours. \nTufts Community Day runs from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on the Academic Quad of the Medford/Somerville campus (“The Green” on Google Maps). There will be live performances\, kids’ activities\, community groups\, research projects\, raffles\, and free food. \nCome lend a hand\, share a smile\, and help us spread a little Hillside love in our neighborhood!
