The Promise of Baptism

By February 4, 2016No Comments

Who doesn’t love a baptism? I dare say there is nothing cuter nor more hopeful than the sight a little one being claimed and marked as one of God’s own.

Just as important as the parents’ affirmation that they will raise their child in the ways of love, is our promise as a congregation to offer our love, support, and care as she lives and grows in Christ.

As part of making good on this promise to all the youth in our community, we are welcoming onto our staff an additional child care worker to look after our youngest members.

With all the excitement of Sunday we forgot to introduce her, but you can look forward to meeting Maureen Shea this week. She comes to us with years’ of experience as both a nanny and a daycare owner. We’re excited to have her join us!
