Feel the love Sundays @ 10:30a

WHAT WE'RE TALKING ABOUT IN WORSHIP

Rally Sunday

This Sunday is not just any Sunday—it is Rally Sunday, and it is the kickoff to our hundredth year in this sanctuary. We will bless backpacks for kids, youth, and educators, lift our voices with special music, share a message about marking God’s goodness, and hand out our Centennial Challenge: 100 Acts of Love. Then we will head outside for a barbecue potluck packed with good food and great company. Come be part of the joy as we launch our centennial year together!

Our Father Who Art In Heaven

What does it mean to pray, “Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name”? We’ve all heard it, recited it, and maybe even memorized it—but have we really stopped to think about what it means? In this message, we dive into the first line of the Lord’s Prayer to explore how Jesus invites us into a relationship with God that is both intimate and awe-inspiring.

Scripture References: Matthew 6:7-9

OUR VISION

Grounded in Love

In a time of increasing partisanship and division, Hillside Community Church boldly imagines a world in which people of every race, ethnicity, socioeconomic background, gender expression, and sexual orientation can come together to meet, talk, listen, share, explore, and grow in love.

Each week, through worship that draws on the deepest insights of the Christian scriptures and through active programs of community service and outreach, the Hillside community works to build just such a world.

If you are looking to be part of an action-oriented, love-centered Christian community, we’d love to have you join us!
