Meet Cute
Every rom-com has a meet-cute — the random run-in that starts a love story neither character sees coming. Ruth chapter 2 has one too: a wealthy landowner, a destitute widow gleaning in his field, a chance meeting neither recognizes as the start of anything. Turns out that's usually how God shows up — not thunder and lightning, just the stuff we call luck.
