Thanks for the Fleas
Psalm 22 opens with "My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?" — and somehow still finds its way to praise. Not despite the forsakenness, but from inside it. This sermon puts that psalm next to Corrie and Betsie ten Boom's story and asks what gratitude actually is when it's not optimism and it's not just obedience. Sometimes thanksgiving is resistance: a refusal to let suffering write the whole story.
