Fan or Follower?
Plenty of people admire Jesus. In Luke 4, we see what happens when admiration collides with commitment. Jesus defines his ministry by concrete good news for the poor, and the crowd’s response shows us how to tell the difference between being impressed by Jesus’ words and actually following where his way leads.
