WHY HILLSIDE?
WHAT WE'RE TALKING ABOUT IN WORSHIP

Summer in the Psalms

The Psalms have been the church’s prayer book for three thousand years, and they got the job by refusing to pretend. Over four Sundays we’ll pray four very different psalms: awe under a sky too big for us, trust through the dark valley, thanksgiving for what we barely survived, and, yes, one Sunday of raw rage, because the Psalms give us permission to bring God even the prayers we’re ashamed of. Come pray the whole range with us.

Misplaced People

We’ve all misplaced our keys, our phones, or that ever-elusive TV remote. But Jesus tells a story about something lost that’s far more important: people. This Sunday we’ll hear how God calls us to seek the ones who have slipped through the cracks—not because they wandered off on their own, but because too often our silence, judgment, or neglect helped them get lost. From a game of Family Feud to the witness of Cambridge’s Outdoor Church, we’ll explore what it means to light lamps, sweep houses, and get off our keesters until God’s love finds every last one.
